How locations work

01 — Locations
Your organization, then each playground
Enter the organization once and add a site for each playground you keep records on. The bill follows the count: add one and it is prorated, remove one and the next invoice drops.
02 — The check
Walked on a phone, with or without signal
Pick the location, tap through the 25 pass/fail items of the CPSC Pub. 325 Appendix A checklist, note anything that failed, sign. With no signal the check saves on the phone and sends itself later.
03 — The record
Every check, listed by location
Each filed check becomes a hosted record page: all 25 items with their result, the measurements, the findings, the photographs and the signature. Reports list by location, newest first.
When something fails
A failed item becomes a finding. It stays open until someone records what was done.
Failing an item asks two things: how urgent, on the Priority 1 to 5 scale, and what you saw. The finding carries the handbook's own remedial action and section reference. Open findings from every location sit in one list; closing one records who fixed it and what they did.

Plain answers
- How do the people at each location run the check?
- You add each person by email on the Account screen. They get their own sign-in link, can run checks at any location, read every record and close findings. Billing, export and the list of playgrounds stay with you. Whoever walks the check also types their name in the sign-off.
- How often is a check due?
- After a check is filed, the next one is scheduled for a week later. You can file a check at any location whenever you like; the weekly default is not enforced and cannot yet be changed per location.
- Is the record a PDF?
- It is a hosted page with a stable link, which you can print or save as PDF from the browser. Everything in the account can also be exported as a single JSON file.
- Does this satisfy my licensing rule or my insurer?
- We do not give compliance advice and this is not a professional inspection. It produces a dated, signed record of the CPSC Appendix A checklist, with photographs, for the routine checks the handbook expects to be done in-house. We have published what the Texas and North Carolina childcare rules say about playground checks, read at source, so you can judge for yourself.
- What happens if we stop?
- Cancel any time from the account screen; access runs to the end of the paid year. Export your data before then; it is deleted 30 days after the account closes.
